Engineer and manager in upstream oil and gas for 35 years. Published ten sci-fi novels in retirement so far, Pegasus UK and Amazon.
My sci-fi novel 'Wolf Slayer' (on Amazon) will likely raise border eyebrows. Have to wait for the next president I guess to visit my favourite US locales.

The oldest ball diamond in the world is Labatt Memorial Park in London, Ontario, Canada (a city where I grew up and played baseball as well as hockey). In continuous use since 1877. Google it.

Canada should buy the minimum F-35's as per contract, and complete the new fighter air force with Grippens. All weather, can land on remote strips.

If Toronto wins, Trump will set up lawn chairs for them in the ballroom construction mess and offer them cold Big Macs made with Argentinian beef.

Closest thing to a “world” series since the last time Toronto won in 1993.

In my sci-fi novel 'ZONT-2 and Beyond' (on Amazon), oligarchs construct a huge solar screen at L1 to arrest climate change. The pilot project was wiped out by a solar storm, and the second 'zont' (Russian for umbrella) incorporated design improvements to survive an ion storm.

Just need a tap room, say one overlooking the beautiful Ottawa River. He and Queen Camilla stopped by the Quidi Vidi brewery in St.John's, owned by a good friend.

The new norm... national leader visits Oval Office, personally attacked with lies, subjected to demented rants on camera. Look for future visits to be private affairs with no media scrums.
