Waking up with the thought in my head that the only way all of this immigration stuff would be legit is if all the immigration staff (judges, lawyers, officers etc) were native Americans. And I can't imagine it would be anything like what we're seeing now.

Director Peter Sohn based the story on his life as a 2nd generation Korean-American immigrant & what it’s like to be in an interracial relationship in an immigrant family.
It wasn’t perfect, but it’s a lovely story. 100% worth the watch💧🔥
