The GOP will do the same here! Drastic cuts to education and our social safety net are designed to create a larger class of poor, desperate people who they can ship off to their wars or work as slaves on their farms and factories so they can make more money and exploit environment. It’s despicable.

We will also be paying twice to help feed our fellow Americans: Our tax dollars are supposed to be used for snap benefits and they’re being withheld so now we will all rush to donate to food pantries as well. 🙄 It is disgraceful that this is happening in such a wealthy country.

It’s not that they don’t care. It was published in the NY Times so no MAGAs will see it. They don’t read the Times and think NYers are elitists. Messages like this need to be on billboards, posters, stickers, and postcards flooding red districts. The Times is just preaching to the choir.
