This series is soooooo good! You’re one of my favorite narrators, and, as always, you did such a fantastic job bringing these characters to life. I just finished this one and the second one last month. Can’t wait for the next one!

My mother cares a lot more about her reputation than she ever did about me, and I could very easily ruin that for her 🥰 and the reason I don't is because I'm a good person, BUT keep it up. Maybe I'll decide I like the low road better.

I keep having to stop myself from happily telling his kids that they moved in together a year before they got married, and lied about it to them and the scam church he started. And also letting their "progressive" church know how they act in private.

So I blocked them on everything, and if anyone asks I would be happy to go on and on and on about how my mother picked her idiot's family (the drug addict, Facebook live homophobic pastor, and creepy pedo that escaped prison) over her trans kid.

Do you think they reached out to apologize? To ask how we were doing? To see how they could work on this relationship? Nope. They reached out letting me know they canceled my car insurance.

All of this could've been avoided, because that refrigerator isn't their only vehicle, they know I don't like it, and when we were trying to explain why we weren't happy to see them I was told "You're being ridiculous just get in the truck." So we called an Uber!

We finally get home, and I agreed to spend New Years with my mother and her idiot. And they pick us up from the airport... In the cybertruck... And then had the audacity to tell me I was misinformed when I said it's unsafe and my partner said 'and he's a raging transphobe and Arch is trans?!'

That went about as well as you can imagine. I'll set the scene just a little: they smoke inside, they didn't want me to help decorate the tree, and they constantly kept trying to bait us about crazy topics. Whatever. I applied to grad school, and got to go sledding for the first time.

It's Christmas, and I didn't want to go home, so I planned an entire trip out of state to see my lovely partner's parents, who are also conservative, but hey at least they get my pronouns right and haven't paid 100k for a brick with "fuck trans rights" on the side of it.

As a trans enby myself, I decided: I'm not going home, until either it bricks or he dies whichever comes first! Because I deserve better. My perfect partner has been keeping the peace, and being VERY kind to my mother and her idiot in this situation.

Even if that means spending it all on a freeloading man. Whatever. Not my problem. WELP! A month after my birthday she bought him a cyber truck 🤮 from the guy that brought you tanking a successful business (Twitter) and spending a cool 75 mil on anti trans shit this year.

She brought him into my childhood home, gave him a job at the successful business she owns, and keeps complaining about money issues while he just started a Rolex collection for them. And up until this year, I didn't care. It's her money, and I want HER to enjoy it.

My mom decided to marry and ex mega church pastor turned time share salesman... So, you know, a con man. And it's just been a disaster.
