“finished” a few days ago (had 87%) and wanted to collect my thoughts. hollow knight is one of my favorite games so I had high expectations for this one and it met most of them. but notably not all, definitely does not supplant the og for me. really good game though

yes it is! his involvement was an attempt to capture the western market where Onimusha always struggled, also matching the other character portrayed by japanese actor Takeshi Kaneshiro who was also in the first game. side note this game kicks ass, particularly fond of the Jean Reno sections

its really fucked up that for the numerous ethical, moral objections to the main commercial uses of generative AI the biggest problem is actually that it is really bad and not helpful in any way

its like Journey but you go real fast and can do tony hawk tricks, a concept that I think is literally impossible to mess up for me. if you like giant squid games this has great vibes, real fun quick play
