Fujimoto continues to be my favorite mangaka of all time, and one of the most creative voices I've seen in comics. Capturing an entirely different medium, amateur filmmaking, in the panels of a manga and using that to comment on the struggles for artists to grieve and process their art is unreal

Finished Iwakura Aria last night. It's a wonderful companion piece of feminist storytelling adjacent to Silent Hill f. First half is stronger than the second, and there's a big wtf glaring issue, but it's overall a chilling look at how women have their right to their own bodies taken away from them.

This requires MAGES to actually have narrative planning and foresight (impossible), but it would be a galaxy brain move to have the Steins;Gate reboot go full in on being an Anonymous;Code sequel, which directly leads into whatever Steins;??? ends up being. Whatever happens I just need Mio as an MC.
