I had them for roughly 20 years. One or two hiccups at at time, at least twice a day - sometimes more. Eventually they stopped, but I can’t remember when. I get one or two hiccups every now and then, but not very often.

I engaged with a few non-voters online after the fiasco in November and was told they didn’t vote because they “didn’t like either candidate”. It’s hard to get them to make the effort when they are basing it on feelings rather than facts. Not sure how to fix it.

My personal policy is to block those who are rabid and attack me or my friends on social media. I will be nice to someone until I learn they voted for him and then I turn up the frosty civility. No more nice and friendly. Frosty civility. It has thinned the herd nicely. No regrets.

NC is a great place, in the middle of the state. You’re still close to the coast but not as impacted by hurricanes. The snow happens maybe every few years, if that, and never very much or for long. We moved here 3 years ago from CA and love it! Wake county, especially!
