I really miss not waking up with an overwhelming sense of dread.

To add to the feeling to helplessness that accompanies being the parent of someone with significant disabilities, now the programs that give her the best shot are being threatened by this vile, evil, wholly inhumane administration. And it’s only been a little over a week.

How is it that, yet another, school shooting happened and I only learned of it a day later? How are we so desensitized that it’s a buried story?
