Mitan is a South Sea Islander, but she is also part Dunesfolk from her mother. Due to this, she takes inspiration from similar cultures (mostly Polynesian), but because she is made by me, there are sprinkles of general black culture in there if you look hard enough. She even has my skintone!

My FFXIV anniversary is actually November 1st (5 whole years, and I do plan on doing a stream thing for it), so this it's no shock to me that my achievement is the day after because it was night time and I spent so much time just wandering around Limsa.

Updated Eorzea Encyclopedia entry for Mitan Pontan
A recreation of a main character entry for the Eorzea Encyclopedia featuring Mitan, the South Sea Lalafellin adventurer and writer. The text reads: MITAN PONTAN "There are simple things in life, like crab and cactuars..." Born in the South Sea Isles, Mitan was an inquisitive and optimistic child from an early age, the eldest in a generation of 13 cousins. The youngest to begin catapulting and hunting excursions with elders, she narrowly evaded a beast attack during a sudden fainting spell, which prompted her mother to teach her combat. This was her first, and far from her last, experience with the Echo. She grew into a well liked member of her village, even having a suitor who would not last against her ambition for travel. While trading in Eorzea and visiting Ul’dah with her mother, she was reminded of her father’s determination curiosity before his disappearance, years prior. She decided, despite her family’s protestations, that she would follow the call to become an adventurer. After a long and tiresome journey led by the Scions, the islander discovered the avenue of venues created by fellow adventurers following their dreams. An idea to spread word came to mind, and she prudently started her own magazine to promote these places alongside her dearest friends. It was during this effort that she found her long-lost father, influencing her current work. Mitan continues as a Student of Baldesion and artisan at present. She strives to serve the star above all else, dedicating her magicks and field research to Lalafellin people past and present. Though she claims the world may grow away from the need for heroics, her goal is to insure no moment of her life is wasted in idleness, carrying the memory of those living and departed on her shoulders as both her burden and greatest honor.

I have my 1 to = hotbar, my Ctrl and 1 to = hotbar, the bar for stuff I prefer to click on, the 3x4 "most important buttons" bar, the 3x4 necessary job hotbar, and my guages.

The numpad input is super smart! If I wasn't years deep into this muscle memory, I'd give it a shot, even.
