If you have the chance today I’d urge you to seek out a speech you’ve never heard before. An excellent resource I found is the wonderful “To Shape a New World - Essays on the Political Philosophy of Martin Luther King, Jr.” edited by Professors Brandon Terry and Tommie Shelby.

Just try is like the one defining thing I repeat to my kids over and over again and it’s the reason I finally am trying to run for office here in NC. But man watching Andor a couple weeks ago and hearing the manifesto made things real dusty in my living room.

Zines are amazing. I just designed my first for my campaign here in NC and I can cram a ton of into about public school funding into them, they are pocket sized, cheap to print, and I plan to hold a party to get people together to help fold them and meet each other to try and build my campaign.

It’s also interesting to posit cancelling the midterms when here in NC the Republican controlled legislature gave him new maps for the express purpose of helping in the midterms.
