Proposal 4 on the floor. This would establish a process by which Division III may consider federating sport-specific playing rules that have either a financial or philosophical impact for Division III institutions

Proposal 1 is up. This proposal allows for each multi-sport conference and the group of independents to have a primary representative on National SAAC. This will provide more clarity and consistency in the role of committee members.

The proposal to have Student-athletes regain eligibility after 1 regular FT term at the new DIII institution it if they meet the institution's academic standards for all SAs passed, 435-19-8

Student-athletes who transfer while academically ineligible at their previous institution are not immediately eligible for competition but may regain eligibility after 1regular FT term at the new DIII institution it if they meet the institution's academic standards for all SAs.

Voting on emergency legislation this morning (EM-2025-1), to change the requirement that student-athletes who transfer to a Division III institution while academically ineligible at their previous institution serve an academic year of residence before being eligible to compete.
