Keep the Caribbean people out of it. Do some research and see how many people of Caribbean background were involved in the civil rights movement. Two of the most prominent were Harry Belafonte and Stokeley Carmichael later Kwame Ture. This could also include Malcolm X whose mother was from Grenada.

Nah. The Parliamentary Committee that oversees Crown Properties sent a letter requesting details of the lease. Reports that I've read assumed that the lease was watertight and thought that they would have to pay Andrew to leave.

I think the present map was approved by a judge in upstate NY that was sympathetic to Reps-- after Republicans challenged the map that was approved by the state Representatives. I can't remember the whole story but you can google.

I watch the Japanese English language news on one of the PBS stations. I remember seeing an item where they want tourists to go to lesser known areas. People in areas that get a lot of tourists are complaining, just like the Europeans.

Do you remember when they brought Donna Shalala out of retirement to stop a progressive? Same thing. Houston, Tx-- they brought out someone who was in his late seventies and he died soon after taking office, the special election has still not happened.

She is not fighting for democracy, she is fighting for power. I heard her interview on NPR yesterday. She thinks Trump is doing a wonderful job- when he is trying to do the same things that Maduro is doing.
