Basically me appreciating people - she/her

After a year and a half without them in my last home, I was able to finally put up these shelves again 😊😊 Left is two years/homes ago. This time without overloading them with books, but I'm sure some will slip in one day. God, I didn't realise how much I've missed having shelves in the home :)

She's obviously not done yet but I managed to unpack my books in my new apartment today and I'm so glad the room feels like it's got a soul now

Pretty happy with my movie a week project so far! Some misses, but mostly hits! Excited to try out more recommendations :)

I wasn't home the last couple of days bc of work so I unfortunately missed her prime but look at her gorgeous colouring!

Tulip appreciation post because look at these gorgeous darlings 🥰

I have no idea where the ones coming through the hydrangea came from, I didn't plant them!

My hibiscus lives!! I was 90% sure she was dead because she immediately lost all her leaves (partly due to slugs) when I planted her last spring. In an act of "well, she definitely won't survive here when I move," I took her with me to the new garden. I was losing hope but look!!

Author who I've been following since I was approx. 12 years old keeps posting more and more controversial things without being a forthright bigot

She may not be a special variety but I love her :)

First ten weeks of my movie a week project this year :D

(Once again, still open for recommendations if you have some for me: your comfort movies, favourites, or staples you think everyone should have watched). Link to recommendations so far: boxd.it/DBXMO)

It's quite funny how you can so clearly see that there was one book I could only get through slowly this month

I have been a bit sad about the garden lately because I still miss the old one so much and we have barely had any birds in this one this winter even though I did my best to provide for them, but LOOK! This hellebore has happily survived the move and is now in bloom! Made my day 😊

The way I wanted to reply to this referring to the "some flowers" book scene from Age of Adaline, but then I remembered I LITERALLY already told you this almost exactly a year ago on twitter lol

It's been a while since I've made Dutch butter cake 😊 only fitting to inaugurate my new baking pan to make something for the person who taught me how to make it

The first pic I took last summer at a castle in France bc I loved the pattern. Finally found some time to finish my own version, first creative thing I finished in months! It's tiny and unimpressive, but good for my soul 😊 now I just need to find a similar towel to put it on lol

It's ridiculous that I'm anxious about sharing my storygraph wrapped, I want to talk more about books dangit! So here it is :D

Don't really know what happened this month but we're going out with a bang apparently

Also love how you can clearly see when I started working nearly full-time again (June) and when I started my second job and started commuting which meant having time to read (October)

The amount of times I've wondered whether I should just try to get a fanmade version of Der Katzenprinz and now I'll be able to get the official one on my bookshelves 😭 I'm so excited!
