Much can done to reverse the loss of social housing to RTB. Increasingly we meet elderly owners with no funds to maintain their homes from their pension, who were incentivised into ownership without advice. More proactive landlords buy-back these precious assets www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

In the absence of more affordable homes #RentersRights Bill goes further to protect tenants:

✔️ Ending Section 21 'no fault' evictions
✔️Capping advance rent payments at one month’s rent
✔️ Allowing renters more notice to find a new home

It's not perfect but it's a start
