The Oak Ridge Fire burning on the Navajo Nation near the New Mexico border has grown to nearly 10,000 acres.

A weak monsoonal pattern is bringing chaotic wind patterns but also the possibility of rain to slow the fire.

The Navajo Nation's agreement with company Energy Fuels to allow uranium transport from a mine in Arizona to a mill in Utah has a provision regarding a proposed NM mine near Mt. Taylor.

If approved, that could mean a max of 50-60 uranium trucks a day across the nation and NW NM.
