It put 6 kids through Catholic schools and allowed them to retire comfortably. I remember thinking he must be REALLY important when he was elected shop steward.☺️

My dad was Local 36. I think I have his 60-year union pin. He was the first employee at Galmiche Heating & Cooling MANY years ago.

Although, I have to say, I like people not having a lane to use for left turns 2 blocks before the intersection? But, I don't travel that way every day so maybe that was helpful during rush hour.
