I'm not really "amazing" at either art or writing, and I never post regularly, and I have trouble interacting with others, so I guess it makes sense that most things I make don't get attention. And I don't want to be better to avoid those things. I just want to be proud and for someone to see it.

It's just a shame that they couldn't tie all of these ideas into a more enjoyable game. At least forgotten land exists to combat it and RTDLDX gives me another taste of a proper 2d Kirby adventure on a modern console.

However. The game is not all bad. I like how it looks. Some abilities are always a blast and I think they have a great pool of them (yo yo, beetle, cleaning ((even if it kinda sucks)), and the new ones are nice.

And the dream friends are so peak. So much detail packed into them.

Not to mention the puzzles feeling slow when having to deal with a CPU as companion. It's sluggish, the cutscene that plays when a special move activates is grating, and they are very very VERY simple every time because you have to compensate for four characters on the screen at once.

and I want it to stand out! I want the levels to have moments that I remember. But I don't because the game moves too quickly through these individual areas. One level of fire. One with water. One with grass. One with ice.

And then we have the nerve to repeat after the only distinct setting!

In contrast to other modern games, which have simple world names and cohesive themes

White Wafers
Patch Plains
Wondaria Ruins (idk the exact name)

Even behind that, classic games have this distinction too

Yogurt yard
Candy constellation

Nothing stands out here in contrast and it sucks :(

Star Allies feels so disconnected and empty in terms of environments. And in my journey to complete all guest star modes (nowhere near done) it becomes painfully obvious how the structure does not work for Kirby.

I don't remember the names of planets, levels, nothing that is original in the game
