I fucking love painting dragons. I'm going to have to deal with the glossiness but I'm hoping a final drybrush, highlight, and wash will take care of that
(image: an image depicting a WIP of a statue/diorama I'm working on. The full diorama includes two dragons fighting in close aerial combat with large wings, both depicted (and physically held up) by terrain that could be the tip of a mountain. The actual amount of what I've painted so far is the terrain and the bottom half of the top dragon, which is a greenish blue. The bottom half of the dragon has a jar attached to it using a mix of plastic sprue and superglue to use as a makeshift painting handle. Our cat Zephyr is peeking over the box that I used as a backdrop, you can see everything above his chin including his mouth, eyes, snoot, and ears.)
