今でなくともかなり前から米国は観光でも「来ては行けない国」になっていた。政治がらみの諸々はともかく、犯罪率が高過ぎる上に起こってる犯罪の内訳が野蛮国そのものである事、食っても不味い一般的な食べ物が普通に高くなってきていたが昨今それに拍車がかかりさらに高騰している事、その他の旅行費が乏しい内容であるにも関わらず高過ぎる事などなど。
確かに大谷翔平は見ていてエキサイティングだし、日本人選手だから日本人がわざわざ観に来るのも重々理解している。が、今は来ない方が良い。どうせドジャーズの全試合日本で観れるんでしょ？自宅やスポーツバーで観るのが得策。

American tourists in Japan had great times in spring 2025. beautiful cherry blossoms, great food, safe streets with no threats at all and not having to drive - all so cheap to them.

consumers in US are just too damn dependent on online stores and online shopping.
in Japan i can browse and see the goods, touch and feel them, and depending on what the goods are, i can try things.
