Yet again last nights Bournemouth EMOM (Electronic Music Open Mic) did not disappoint with excellent performances all round 👏

Last week at the Bournemouth EMOM (Electronic Music Open Mic) we saw a fantastic range of performances. At each event we are seeing greater range and diversity in technologies being used and music being performed. Great to see 👏

Yesterday our BA (Hons) Music & Sound Production students were joined in the studios by professional bass player, Stephen Reynolds, for a recording session. This provided them with an opportunity to listen and record some fantastic music 😀

This week our BA (Hons) Music & Sound Production students had an opportunity to record a professional drummer (Graeme Thew) and explore different recording setups to sculpt the sound of the drums 👌

Last night was the Bournemouth EMOM (Electronic Music Open Mic) with an excellent range of performances. However, I was particularly taken with the last performance of the evening which was synths and gramophone piece 🥰

I bought this one before Christmas and have not really had an opportunity to play with it till this weekend. It took sometime to get my head around how it works, but I'm getting to the point now were I can get it to do what I want......sort of 🤔
