Watching all the smash and grab assaults on federal agencies in these past weeks, I feel it's important to remember that randomly deleting federal programs is how we got the COVID pandemic rather than "Hey, whatever happened with ebola anyway?"

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

Looking forward to hearing Kid Rock and Hulk Hogan read a poem at the upcoming inauguration. Sure to eclipse Amanda Gorman, Maya Angelou and Robert Frost.

Visited Carrollton viaduct today. Built in 1829, it was the first viaduct built by the B&O railroad as it began its westward journey. The first train to cross it was pulled by a horse, not a locomotive. It is still in use today and supports locomotives weighing almost 500,000lb!
