It was never about these things. It has been about the patriarchy and white supremacy. Sadly, even minority groups voted for the oppression of the other to gain access to power. This bully behaviour is as old as time.

Canadian here. I have never lost 1 minute of sleep worrying about losing everything because of an unpredictable illness. My father got Parkinson’s disease at the age of 48. My family of 6 would have been devastated if we were living in the States. Universal healthcare is critical.

I am not a religious person, and will never understand why religion isn’t a private matter. Just be a decent person. The moral superiority often associated with any religious group claims to care about people when they only protect their own.
