Also when I say theyre odd its bc according to other people they have a weird sense of honor and also iirc if you do somebting that slightly annoys them (which may just be winning abunch) they'll just disconnect when they match with you

The local/global setting in dark souls is weird because there's only 2 groups of regions: japan, and then everywhere else. So in japan it works how you would imagine, but everywhere else it just enables connecting to Japanese players who set it to global

They're also as far as im aware, the only Japanese person doing pvp who's set it to connect to players worldwide (ik they are Japanese because turning off the setting for me prevents me from matching with them)
