If increased prices are also expected to increase annual revenue - the amount that they are raising prices significantly EXCEED the increased costs.

That's ~equivalent to 1 Medium 12" pizza
So 1 homemade 12" med. pizza costs ~$4.20 (🌿)
Exceeding my $1-$3 range
But still makes 3 pizzas (2 medium + 1 small) for the price of 1 storebought ~$10 pizza.

I wonder if they could calculate % of similarity to the original post?
But then that makes shorter posts barely editable.
A 5% similarity req:
• Permits 2.5 characters (chars) on a 50 character post
• Permits 15 chars on a 300 char post.
Hmmm

I've done the math on multiple occasions, adjusting as food costs have risen.
My dough fits into a 10" and a 6" cast iron pan, and my recipe is extremely consistent.
There's a reason I do this. It's cheap and an incredible father-son bonding.

5 lb is ~$17
1/4 lb of cheese is a *heavy* amount of cheese on 10", yet still makes 20 pizzas
$0.85/pizza for *heavy* cheese
$0.42/pizza for light cheese
So $0.50 for dough, $1 for sauce, $0.60 for cheese - that's $2.10/pizza

90-112oz canned tomatoes is ~$10-$12
That makes ~12-15 pizzas, so ~$0.70-$0.90/pizza
Then just 11.3g of Salt, 45g of sugar, 7.5g oregano.
That makes sauce ~$1/pizza, varying on pizza sauciness.

113g is $7.5
1.5g makes both, so 113g makes 150 pizzas.
$7.5/150 = $0.05/pizza
Water:
Prices vary (tap, bottled, etc)
194g makes both, which is < 50% of a 16.9oz bottle.
So I'll estimate $0.17/pizza if bottled
$0.24 + $0.01 + $0.004 + $0.05 + $0.17 = ~$0.50 per pizza for the dough

Flour:

300g makes both, so 2270g makes 14-15 pizzas.

9g makes both, so 1360g makes 302 pizzas.

It would allow for quick "oops, lemme fix that" edits, while preventing egregious message-flip style changes.
Doesn't address every circumstance, but it'd be a start.

~$1 makes a Small pizza or calzone, thus the $1-$3 range.
Toppings would certainly increase the cost, but that cost varies dramatically w/ the type and qty of ingredient/s, so I only estimated for the base pizza (crust, sauce, cheese).

A whole homemade pizza costs about $1-$3 depending on the size and quality of ingredients.
Plus, if you wanna meal prep them, you can stretch, partially bake, and freeze them ahead of time!
