Little bit of everything, trying to intersperse the politics with nice photos.
CA-3 is a rural-suburban district, not the kind of area where young people hang around past high school. Not sure Tiktok is the best marketing strategy in this case.

The actors were having fun, but their characters weren't.

Getting called a jerk by Elon is a compliment.

It's a video quality issue, this is shared from another app. Happens all the time.

She claims to be a political influencer and then pretends not to understand the connection between R politicians and the Heritage Foundation? Smells like grifting to me.

That's certainly how it feels sometimes, like did two timelines converge over the last few years and erase some people's memories?

Wild grass in CA will turn brown even if it's still raining late in the season. It will grow green and thick even if there's no rain in the winter. The foliage works on its own internal clock, there's no magic water solution that will affect anything here.

If we lived in the kind of country where more people were paying attention then maybe. McClintock has been there since 08, people just fill in the bubble next to his name without thinking too much about it. Kiley had a much tighter race in his first election in 22 but 24 was not close.

On the surface that looks flippable but if you look at the district map, they're made up of mountains/hills, farmland or other rural areas. Those areas are predominantly white/conservative and aren't going blue anytime soon. I think we're currently at best case scenario with CA house seats.

Depends on what you mean by "welcome". Would I celebrate his voice at the table when it comes to shared values like democracy or being anti-maga? Yes, and I already have. Would I vote for his Tea Party ass and let him drag our party further right? No.

At least Haley/Loomer are willing to speak against the party, even if it's in service of trying to help them. It's funny how they say the same things we do. However, this is the reason they ultimately have very little influence.

If Dems were a cult we'd be trying to get her to change her tune, not giving her the boot. Remember when Kyle Rittenhouse tried to say that he was writing in Ron Paul and everyone screamed at him until he took it back? That's what a cult pile on looks like.
