Why do you play contemporary music Steve? Well, it is because I get to work with living composers and play a part in the birth of a new work- like yesterday working with @sotomayorga.bsky.social or last week working with my music school impro group with Sophie Youyung Lee on her work.

Last December at Haus für Poesie Berlin with Soprano Coco Lau and Mask-artist Camilo Pachon for the premiere of my "Medea Fragments" ❤️

Last November I received the Busoni Composition Prize of the Berlin Academy of Arts :-)
