Hm. I'm pretty indifferent to Fixers as a whole.
I see the appeal in the work, for some, and I don't really hold any level of ill-will towards them, but the general Fixer lifestyle isn't personally of interest to me.
I'm fine co-existing with 'em, but I honestly don't pay too much attention to them.

As for this. I wear black and silver all the time, so it's pretty much part of my brand. My weapons are black with silver accents. It's just functional, for someone who prefers working at night/in the dark and doesn't want to entirely blend in.

I just really like the stars, and have since I was quite young. It's also why I'm the type to sleep during the day, just so I can be awake at night.

I mean I suppose I gotta say steel. A wooden sword wouldn't exactly get you so far. What are you gonna do with one of those? Inflict splinters on your opponent? Yeah, nah, would rather something that can actually kill with ease.

I'd be in trouble for stealing it, and would probably be charged for the replacement considering it got eaten in my possession. But I'd find you and make sure you pay me back double whatever the replacement sword cost, *personally* just for putting me in that situation.
