Further, things like BG3s dialogue is not repeatable without it being a big budget title, so any game modeling off it will take half a decade to come out. There hasn't been too many indie innovations going up to AAA though because indies are very genre-iterative as opposed to market shifts like BotW

AAA games are in the oven for 5+ years. Things that are influential today may be stale by then. For that much development time, I'm not sure they can adjust too much to recent events. Maybe a bit. Recent things like BG3 or Elden Ring's open world approach will be influencing more games years later.

But even lately, console performance has been a total crap shoot unless accepting 30 fps.

Most of the time, they are optimizing for console. 10,000% more for Japanese devs, based on their market being console heavy.

Most of it ends up back in the government through taxation, or ends up being spent, which can then be taxed again... and again, etc. As long as the dollars are being spent within the country, it all comes back into the government eventually. What doesn't is a company outsourcing to other countries.

Smaller streamers getting noticed isn't really a thing. Most people watch the same creators, very rarely finding new ones, and usually through collaborations. It's probably faster to grow a traditional youtube channel and then stream off of that audience.

Eh, chat is pretty much a non-issue for me and many others, so not sure what Twitch thinks it's selling point is after continuing to gut features and push creators to branch out.

A lot of people are just streaming to both now. Makes it even easier.
