Hey @rachel-aaron.bsky.social are you going to this by any chance? If you two aren't already familiar with each other's work, I think you would enjoy each other. You both are absolutely amazeballs at fully realizing characters in YA Urban Fantasy, with excellent story pacing.

Jelly & spreading word to nearer friends. Too far to travel from Cleveland since I don't fly due to risk of damage to my wheelchair. I think the Mississippi River, north of St. Louis, might be my travel limit unless it is a mega road trip like I did in 2012. Please clue me in if you come closer.

Also just finished listening to the audio of "Wired for Story" by Lisa Cron & I was wonder much of the time while listening if you are familiar with that work since you do pretty much every technique in there in an exemplary way. Now that motherhood is getting less intense I am trying to write more.

I am so glad this series is on Hoopla so I can introduce friends with financial constraints to your awesomeness in this series, and wish Heartstrikers could be on there. My 14-year-old son is recommending TDH to his friends since they can get it thru Hoopla but I buy them so we can listen via Alexa.

I am most active on FB because that is where my community organizing efforts function best. I still have an E-Clutch fanfic rattling around in my head. ;)

Same. Been considering using some of my Otter Voice Notes Pro minutes for drafting dialogue when my hands are busy but the characters are noisy in my head. I wrote sections of a draft of a novel (still unedited because motherhood) on my Blackberry Flip sitting in the pre-k pickup line.

Does speech-to-text work for you? I do so much rearranging of words while I am writing that STT becomes a jumbled mess that takes longer to edit than just typing it, but when my eyes are particularly dysfunctional I sometimes use that when I feel compelled to compose something.

Oh and I keep a list of names I cannot spell but need to use in writing open while writing so I can copy paste. Or I use a consistent "I know that isn't how it is spelled" version so I can find-replace later. I do that in fiction and non-fiction writing.

I'm dyslexic so my kids have habituated to hearing random outside-their-context words uttered by me because I can't spell something I am in the middle of using in a written sentence & have triggered speech-to-text.

We interacted via my DragonMama account on Twitter btw, in case I seem familiar.

Legit logged in to Bluesky to check status on this. My kids & I have already listened to Hell to Pay twice and they are asking when Book 4 comes out. Greedy, they are. I am working on cosplays of the characters.

Same question, how does one get added?

Hey Peter, my Class of 2022 bridger son and I are both trying to start podcasting with just the resources our family already has. Any guidance or support you can give would be very welcome. He is trying to civilize his cohort, I am sharing Stoicism in accessible ways so not specifically UU.
