I just realized yesterday was my 5 Years of Pixel Art. I decided to not make anything huge, but I just wanna take the moment to express my gratitude of having a family, friends and clients that support my artistic vision and dreams.

Ayo, stumbled on this post. The "in service of a game" part got me curious, what would you guys say was THE MOST jarring, mind blowing pixel art piece y'all have seen? Specially if not in service of a game
100% Low-resolution art can only every be so realistic, esp if it is in service of a game. And if good artists are involved you will get a certain level of stylisation in general anyway, just because the medium kinda demands it. Or you get photosourced sprites etc which IMO have not held up well.
