An easy start for the Ford Govt. would be to -- like many other states and countries -- ban the sale of products that obscure licenses. Easy quick and free. Enforcement is more expensive, but a blitz or two on the 407 or 400 some cottage Friday or Sunday sure would also help.

I wondered about the route down to Toronto rather than across through Algonquin and thought this would be slower. I assume that Ontario Northland is the train down? I hope their Toronto coach misses traffic out of Toronto.....:)

Excellent podcast. Just this week my daughter and I have been puzzling over a way for her to visit a friend in Cambridge. We live in Durham. This 2hr car trip is about 4 hours via GO! We could drive to Rochester faster. @metrolinx.bsky.social is simply too focused on Union and TTC Toronto projects.

I have to say we were amazed by the accuracy when using Google maps to plan transit trips in NYC this year. It linked multiple regional services and predicted trains to the minute. Hard to compete with that.
