I had finished the main content for Swedish some time ago, so I don't feel too bad. Learning can go on in other forms, and Duo was never meant to make you fluent.

She's doing a great job! I believe the character. I was starting to doubt if she was going to be cut entirely.

I think it makes the audience more suspicious of her. I've seen new watchers hate her right away for that scene, and say Elaine better watch out for her.
Morgase is supposed to be a competent ruler(greatly supported by Thom back then),but she cares deeply about her nation, and the less fortunate.

Book of Translation? More like "the launch codes!" In a more serious take: Translation in geometry is to move from one spot to another while keeping the shape intact. What I'm more curious about is: what triggers then to return again when the wheel turns enough? What age?

Mat's a scoundrel (who's been consistently done dirty by the show. The third season seems to be turning that around, slowly.) But he's gonna run back into that burning building at the end of the day. I can understand doubting that if you've only seen the show, though.

I do appreciate the show trying to make the Children of the Light intimidating and effective. A very big change from the books! Ha! But really, it's nice to view them as a real threat. I haven't seen the recent episode yet. I hope we get a good battle of the two rivers. I've been loving the season.

The Morgase sub plot is one of the fan favorites of the minor plots. I haven't seen season 3 yet, but given the changes that were already made, I'm a bit trepidatious still. I'm excited to find out.

Well, Robert Jordan did get the nickname: Ice Man for his cold attitude to some of the horrors of the war. I think that inspired much of the Flame and the Void.

I've often thought about it this way: if you had perfect knowledge of a tree. You could feel every drop of sap, the precise force on every leaf, the integrity of every branch better than your own bones, could you not then point to the first leaf that will fall? It's only random due to ignorance.

I haven't seen it yet! I gotta get in that. From what I've seen, it looks like they are really stepping up their game. I just hope some key events get their justice. Some of the best stuff in the series in book 4.
