Lastly, the Republican-backed provision creates special litigation privileges for senators that ordinary citizens don’t have.

The Republicans show once again that they are more concerned about themselves than their constituents!

VOTE THE BASTARDS OUT ON 11/3/2026!

Note also that the eight Republican senators’ phone metadata was obtained legally through subpoenas issued by Special Counsel Jack Smith as part of his Jan. 6 investigation, and those subpoenas were approved by a federal judge.
November 12, 2025 at 6:46 AM
Note that the DOJ searches citizens’ phone metadata only in specific, legally authorized situations, such as criminal investigations, grand jury proceedings, and national security cases, where subpoenas or court orders are required.
November 12, 2025 at 6:46 AM
Note the phone metadata is call history data and not a recording of a phone conversation. It only shows when a call was made, to whom, and for how long. It is not a phone tap!
November 12, 2025 at 6:46 AM
The language is retroactive, meaning it directly benefits eight GOP senators whose phone metadata was obtained during Special Counsel Jack Smith’s Jan. 6 investigation.

Then why did you cut 17% of the VA workforce (30% of that are veterans themselves)? Are you to blind to see that these workforce cuts and policy changes are reducing access and narrowing eligibility?

One hell of a way to honor veterans!

And the vote in the Senate is guaranteed to fail, so the Republicans are up to their usual deceptive deals. The Gang of 8 sold us out for nothing tangible in return!

Is that jet dumping feces on the crowd?

AMERICA, DEMAND PROOF FROM THIS REGIME THAT THESE ARE NARCO-TERRORISTS?

And if Howdy Doody Hegseth is ordering strikes against innocent (yes, innocent until proven guilty) people, then who are the terrorists in this equation?
November 10, 2025 at 8:13 PM
Read this as a reasonable approach for how we move forward with the fight against the regime!

Why These Vichy Dems and Their Spineless Boss Need to Go Now
We need courage and clarity from our leaders. Schumer and these eight in the Senate have shown they have failed that test. Time to turn the page.

And Schumer should resign immediately! He has not proven to be a leader and should let somebody else who may be better in holding the Democrat coalition together in the fight again Trump's regime!

8 SENATORS BETRAYED US FOR A SHITTY DEAL!
November 10, 2025 at 7:32 PM
And not 1 of the Gang of Eight is up for re-election next year! So, what are they hoping for? That their constituents will forget who betrayed them before 2028-2030 when they run for re-election?
November 10, 2025 at 7:32 PM
"And reducing the size of government and unnecessary spending is not a bad thing."

Has this regime really reduced unnecessary spending? Dear leader want $230M of taxpayer dollars for repayment of his legal fees. He wants $$$ to refurbish a flying palace, That's not reduction of spending.
November 9, 2025 at 9:18 PM
"We do not even know if their positions were redundant or not."

Isn't that the point. Did anyone understand what the impact of these staff reductions would do?
November 9, 2025 at 9:18 PM
"Democrats could end this today."

So, could Republicans. Senator Schumer presented a fairly reasonable compromise to reopen the government while simultaneously extending Affordable Care Act (ACA) premium tax credits for one year.

Why don't Republicans accept that compromise? <crickets!>

There is really no equivalence here between 2013 and 2025. Permanently reducing government staffing adds stress and chaos to the system.

What we are seeing now is that essential FAA employees, including air traffic controllers, are quitting rather than put up with the work conditions.
November 9, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Under this regime, 400 FAA support staff were laid off/fired and will not return to work. This has and is stressing the essential FAA employees before and during the shutdown.
November 9, 2025 at 7:54 PM
Let's compare what happened then and now. Under Obama, about 15,500 FAA employees were furloughed during the government shutdown of 2013, but none were permanently laid off. Controllers and safety inspectors kept working without pay, while support staff were temporarily sent home.

The fact that you responded to my reply to Sinner shows that the way you fight ignorance is to speak the truth. Nope, I won't block trolls. I welcome the challenge.

But thanks for the warning!

Floride? Not sure what your point is. I agree that fluorination was/is a conspiracy perpetrated by the government against the will of its people, but can you explain further what your premise is?
