as much as im used to them i still think they're very bad, weirdly sticky, very slow to use, somehow feels worse than nerdpoling up

i doubt they'll ever change but a general movement update for the game could go a long way (while also addressing bugged movement that cant be fixed due to backlash)

isnt half life ladders also just going where you look and feels like walking up a steep slope? it also still doesnt work very well
most games since then just made ladders a special animation, more like a vehicle

anyway i think the best first person ladder is White Knuckle, tho thats a climbing game
