When evaluating complete panel proposals, we will look for panels that are cohesive and bring together diverse groups of scholars. We aim not to break up panels, but may do so to achieve thematic coherence across the section.

We welcome work that addresses representation, legislative politics, or electoral institutions, especially research that advances our theoretical understanding and offers compelling empirical evidence. We are also interested in work with a focus on the representation of marginalized groups.
