It's always exciting to see parakeets on the bird feeder - even if I'm not sure if their spread over the UK is a good thing.

Ha! I decided to use Google's A1 to suggest descriptions of Elgar's Dream of Gerontius to use in publicity for my choir concert.

One of the surprising words the A1 suggested was 'humiliating'. Beside it was the quote 'some say it's music that imparts a grave humility.'

On Saturday Kings Heath Park had crowds of people with their eyes glued to their phones, looking for Pokemon in the park. I preferred to look for the camellias!

I'm really enjoying preparing for this concert in Lichfield Cathedral with my choir.

Bach's music is challenging - full of so many complex patterns and beautiful harmonies.

Singing is a great hobby!
