Decided to try out reading yuri vn Letters from a Rainy Day in Japanese. Figured it might have more formal speech and internal monologue. It was a good choice. Managed to understand a good chunk of it, even if I had to look some words up here and there.

Tried reading some Hanahira as an impatient test of my Japanese level. I definitely have a lot to learn still, I struggled a bunch and had to look up a lot of words very often. Plus the way that Japanese loves to omit words in colloquial speech is fucking me up bad lol

Check out Zako no Ahiru, a Bennett Foddy style rage game but with a mesugaki berating you as you play it. I thought it'd have more attention on it. but apparently not. It's not out yet but there is a demo available in English for those curious store.steampowered.com/app/2879980/...
