Surprisingly I was given access to intellij before vscode

It's familiarity and like more control over the environment, a lot of times I feel like I'm fighting with jetbrains features to get them to work properly whereas vscode extensions function more closely to the terminal ime

I've the opposite autism accomodation, I've sat in projects where every call where I had to share screen started with me being told to stop using vscode and use intellij/pycharm
