Im sorry things were so rough on you! Please know that you are important and mean a lot to people still. You inspired me so much. I know it might be a bit corny, but I wouldn't be who I am today without you. You made me realize who I really am, and I hope this year is one of healing for you!

I know exactly what you mean. I've kind of found a dividing line out of my friends. I have the mostly queer people who all asked how I was doing and understood what had happened, and the cis people who went on as if nothing had happened.
