This was designed in collaboration with my client focusing on utility and an all weather weight. Overall I’m super happy with how this came out.

Finished up this military inspired cape. Made of a cotton twill, it features arm escape holes, hidden button plackets, and a detachable hood which attaches to the inside for storage.
Additionally there are clips which join the front to the rear forming an optional “sleeve” when worn.

Early 18th century style shirt
It's not meant to be 100% historical as the fabric really isn't correct for the early 18th century. But I wanted to make something comfortable to wear camping that I could incorporate in my every day wardrobe.

Some more progress on the military style cape l've been working on. All the hidden buttonhole plackets are done and the arm slits attached and finished. I got the collar worked up and basted in place.
