Day 556 million, or who knows because I've lost count at this point, of cabin fever offset in the very best way. Watching the birds 💛

Day 26 cabin fever (yesterday) offset by a trip to see some tree sparrows and ducks at Welney with a lovely friend who takes me out in Storms so I don't die of boredom @duerden.bsky.social

Day 17 cabin fever offset by being back on my most favourite, most familiar farmland. Unable to crop walk or look at things how I normally would but watching the birds flocking up was good enough for now

Day 11 of cabin fever offset by a 20 minute walk round the block (it's a 5 min walk but everything takes ages on crutches). Blue sky, crisp air, singing starlings. Mood lifted

Nice bird list from Grafham water last weekend, especially as we could only sit in one spot the whole time. 38 species, with highlights of good numbers of Goldeneye, Little Grebe, and Red Shank. Thank you @duerden.bsky.social for being my babysitter
