I think it helps that it's a questline where you can't beat it by simply smashing the weapon button until you win

Like I'm considering things about the game I really haven't before (stealth, where my body actually is in a space when I'm sneaking, NPCs' daily schedules, etc.)

Quick thoughts: plastic is robust, altmode is compact/weighty, transformation is fiddly & the mouthguard/part of the facemask are partsforming
