I hate the current status quo on this planet right now.
I broke the hallway bathroom. It was not my intention.
But I was using the vacuum to get the dog hair off the floor because the hair just likes to fly around to avoid a broom.
I was about half way through when the whole bathroom went dark.
So, yeah...I broke the bathroom.

I'm going to put some feelers out there. Hopefully someone can help. If you were in the Louisiana/Mississippi area and have a good photograph of that INCREDIBLE moonset last night with Venus over there shining like the most gorgeous diamond in the sky.

I've been struggling with writing for well over 3 years now. I've finished one short story in that time, and it's still in the early drafts.
I picked up the only story I've sold. It's still weird to see the words I wrote printed inside a book. But I made myself read it again.

I have struggled to make friends my entire life. Somehow, in the course of a weekend, that has changed. I have found myself making real plans, and being so creatively stimulated that I cannot wait to sit down and write. It has been ages since I've been this excited about writing.

What I love about my job is that it gets me to read books I would have never picked up from the bookstore. And some of them are life altering.
I've never had to pause an audiobook to sit with the emotions I was feeling until today. Highly recommend The Sing Sing Files. Specifically the audiobook.

I am slowly working my wakeup time to earlier in the day. I'm starting my morning with yoga, then coffee, then writing for an hour before work. Of course, I need to make it back to 6 am for this. Almost there though.
