I'd vote for Figure 1.
This could just mean there are words Americans use for the extremes which are not in the set tested here. For example (as a UK speaker) wonderful, fabulous and amazing are all missing, as are atrocious, shit, and horrendous.

In the UK a frequent use of the word 'perfect' is actually to mean the opposite: "You have to install it upside down, it makes a beeping noise every time it rains, and yesterday the cat mistook it for a litter box. Perfect!".

Nice list. I agree with 8, but not with 1, at least, not if two English people accidentally bump into each other on the pavement (or even do the awkward little avoidance dance and lock eyes for a moment).

Me too, it's catching and I said it and cringed to hear it pop out of my mouth! The only alternative I could think of at the time was the equally cliche 'drill down' but at least that doesn't sound (yet) like Chat GPT!

Agree - I love that too! I also admire it when they think of things I did not, and that's a good learning experience.
