Our merchandise is an important part of how we fund our Foundation. Every sale helps us continue our work delivering education workshops, raising awareness and standing up against hate. When people sell fake or unauthorised products using our name, it takes our funding away from that vital work.

We remember Sophie today and pledge our commitment to continue the work that Sylvia started: to Stamp Out Prejudice, Hatred and Intolerance Everywhere.

At Sophie’s murder trial, the attack was described as feral thuggery by His Honour Judge Anthony Russell QC. Many of us might stand out as different in our communities, but we all have the right to be who are and live in safety.

We educate for a more tolerant and inclusive society. One where we can live true to ourselves and safely express our own identity.

If you support the Foundation, you are choosing to align with our values and understand the mission we have. We are a small team of four people supported by a Board of Trustees and we work tirelessly to support victims of hate crime.

If you consult the Foundation, we have a duty of care to you. We will safeguard you to the best of our ability and will not share your details or private conversations. We understandably cannot play those conversations out in the public arena.

If we don’t stand together or if we cherry pick which hatred and intolerance we find acceptable, we are clearly part of the problem and not the solution.
July 29, 2025 at 9:44 AM
Core to our mission is to challenge all forms of hatred and intolerance in our communities and educate people to be more accepting of others, however we are different.
July 29, 2025 at 9:44 AM
To everyone who attended, shared the event or engaged with the conversation, thank you. Every voice counts in challenging hatred. Your support helps us continue to educate and raise awareness for a more tolerant society where people are free to be themselves without fear.

As well as broader issues like artificial intelligence, the government and legacy of cultural icons like Vivienne Westwood.
We’d like to extend our thanks to the filmmaker to Hannah Lisa Price and to everyone involved in its screening.

This short film was commissioned by the National Festival of Making and presented by the Blackburn Museum Collective and Creatives of Blackburn. It explored the discrimination faced by alternative communities and was a creative piece that touched on prejudice, identity and acceptance.
