Mindless stupidity. If political will existed, the UK could reclaim 100,000s of homes without building a single new brick!! Get rid of all Airbnbs in residential areas and ban second homes!!! Done. Housing needs to be a social necessity and not a financial asset.

This makes me so cross. We’ve got perfectly good UK based data centres that we manage and control yet we choose to outsource some critical apps to third-party providers all over the world. Only the stupid would put trust and give ownership to people like Jeff Bezos.

A flag won’t lower bills or fix the NHS but let’s take these people on and fly it on all our civic buildings, which will bring unity, pride & belonging to EVERYONE. Let’s normalise it like in the USA and France so it’s not just the right wing.

How can it be racist? Our leaders, through media channels, would have to frame the messaging too - flying of flags outside every public institution is a symbol of unity and shared belonging to the country - representing inclusivity and pride. Not division or exclusion. The USA even has a flag code.

After 45 years in various large organisations and still working, I’ve learnt this - behaviours and office politics never change only the job titles do! Leadership sets the tone and workplace etiquette.

It’s time to take the flag back from the far right. The flags should unite us and not divide us - let’s see them flying proudly on every town hall, school, police station etc. “Normalise”them. Similar to other European countries.

Water is life! Everyone needs it to survive. It should never be owned or controlled by profit driven people and companies. Water companies must be nationalised!! Access to clean water is a basic human right, not a business model. This makes me so angry 😡

Visited Las Vegas from the UK this year for a conference. I walked everywhere rather than taking cabs or monorail, so saw it first-hand. The city felt grubby, tired, and sleazy. The glamour has faded. Poverty was visible. Vegas needs a fresh vision.
