I believe that in ancient times the body tissue removed in circumcision was collected and mashed into wine, dried into bread, or generally used in alchemy. The Song of Songs hints at it as a “powder of the merchant.” This, I think, is why Christians later believed God was in the bread.

Looking into the Song of Songs: “How beautiful are your feet in sandals” (7:1) — Amos, when he says “they sell … the needy for a pair of sandals” (2:6), speaks rather of male than of female intersex genital mutilation. #StopIGM 1/2

It is about the gonads that are preserved. The suture is the supposed need of the needy (Amos 2:6), and this is what makes Solomo a man — addressed as a prince’s daughter (Song 7:1). #StopIGM 2/2

Jacob’s “camp” is the male side, while Jacob’s wives are the female side—which also represents Jacob’s suppressed sexual identity, resonating with them in a metaphysical, angelic form. #Parsha 2/2
