Some Mozart this early morning.

I love this particular album because it omits the spoken parts.

The whole cast, Klemperer, and the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus are fantastic here but I particularly like Walter Berry as Papageno.

Fuck you Trump.

Fuck you MAGA.

I really don't get Shostakovich's music and I don't think I ever will. It's cool as background music while I'm studying or playing games, but I don't think I'll ever be able to just sit there and listen to a whole Shostakovich symphony like I could a Mozart or Beethoven symphony.

After 2 months of Trump and MAGA destroying the country this MFer still wants to act like AOC, Bernie Sanders, and the far left are as bad as Trump and MAGA. I really, really, really hate "centrists".

I got this CD a while ago but critically listened to it for the first time today. The playing was just fine, excellent. I don't know what the boys at London/Decca did in the recording session, but they really hit it out the park with this album...

Post a fictional character who you think would be an antivaxxer.

Hard mode: No villains

I don't think Homer Simpson would be MAGA, he'd probably be more apolitical than anything.

This idea that you can't hate Musk now because you didn't hate Musk 3 years ago before he went down the right-wing grifter pipeline is absurd.

This is the official Facebook account for Fort Novosel. It was one of the US military bases that changed its name. That Daniel guy makes this same comment under almost every post that account makes. This was a post about drivers slowing down on base.

What a colossal loser.

Elon is so pathetic.

One of the more ridiculous ideas out there is that right-wing men think they aren't making decisions with their emotions.

I never did care for Brahms (I do like his violin and double concertos), but I am really enjoying this set of Bernard Haitnik conducting Brahms. Maybe I've just been listening to the wrong conductors all these years when it comes to Brahms.

Wow Twitter is not even loading. I don't think I've ever experinced an outage this bad in all the the time I've ever used it. He can't run a social media platform correctly, Elon Musk and his team definitely shouldn't be the ones deciding on what jobs to cut in the federal government.

The second movement from Schubert's "Death and the Maiden" String Quartet contains some of the most touching music ever composed.

Happy birthday to my favorite composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart! Born today in 1756, Mozart was a child prodigy, composing his first piece of music at 5 years old. Though he lived a short life, dying at the age of 35, he was able to compose over 625 pieces of music, ... (1/12)

Some light dinner music.

I'm not going to say the Marriner set I just got, that'd be too easy. I actually like Karajan's box set of the London Symphonies, particularly the 104. Which is interesting to me because I've read that he didn't particularly care for Haydn's music.

I just got through the "London" and "The Bear" symphonies. I know Sir Neville Marriner and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields very well. They are my go-to conductor/ensemble for Mozart. They are consistently very good in their Mozart. So far, I have not been disappointed with their Haydn.

They were a little delayed, but here's my Christmas gift to myself!

A very Haydn holidays!

I know it's usually highly praised, but I did not care for Michael Mann's Heat (1995).
