In lecture on Wednesday, we learned about different marketing strategies for some of the lecture specifically a SC Johnson advertisement at the Oscars. This made me curious of how people get these jobs, and how they come with ideas such as a crab walking down the red carpet? #UWJ201 #318

In class and discussion this week we talked about the amount of violence used in today's media and how it affects younger kids. What ages do you think this affects and how? What I mean by this is are violent videogames teaching them to solve their issues through aggression? #UWJ201 #318

I thought going over different types of advertisements in lecture was interesting today. What type of advertisement do you think you see the most and has the most affect on you? I personally think that ads that look like content affect me the most. #UWJ201 #318

In class this week we discussed different sources that people receive news from. I wonder why local sources are more trusted than sources such as the New York Times? Is this because the information pertains to the people reading it more since it is local? #UWJ201 #318
