I'm doing Holiday help at a very large, well known bookstore. I was here last year. Retail is retail, I usually hate it. But I adore the staff and the customers are book people and generally nice.
Got myself some "light" reading. First at an indie store and the last 3 at work.

One of my ratties, Daffodil, took a turn a couple days ago. I purchased/rescued her and her cage mate from a country supply store that also has snakes, lizards and other animals, 18mos ago. I was definitely not expecting to say goodbye so soon. ALL she wants is to be held. It's breaking my heart. 💔
